The Global Brand and Marketing Directorate at CQUniversity leads strategic initiatives to grow student engagement, enhance reputation and expand access to education. Through innovative outreach, marketing and partnership activities, the team connects diverse communities with meaningful study pathways and supports equitable participation in higher education and training.

As a Senior Officer Future Students and Outreach, you will lead the development and delivery of engaging outreach, aspiration-building, engagement, and transition initiatives that strengthen connections with prospective students and communities. With a particular focus on supporting participation in higher education among low socio-economic, rural and remote, and First Nations cohorts, you will proactively build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships while providing guidance and support to team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Position Requirements

  • Relevant degree with at least two years’ relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise in marketing, student engagement, community engagement, education or a related field.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices underpinning the operational planning, delivery and evaluation of community engagement programs and events.
  • Experience in a marketing, education, engagement or related environment, with proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and events simultaneously, implement operational plans, and manage operational resources such as budgets and risk.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and delivering engagement strategies, plans, projects, events or campaigns, including monitoring, reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Experience engaging with school-aged students and diverse or underrepresented communities, including people from low socio-economic backgrounds, First Nations people, and rural and remote areas (Desirable).
