Are you currently in Year 10 and moving into Year 11 in 2027?

About the Opportunity
Are you looking to gain real work experience while you finish school?
As a trainee at Service NSW, you have the opportunity to learn new skills, support customers, and gain experience in a professional workplace.
  • Help customers with general enquiries and answer basic questions.
  • Assist customers to complete forms and paperwork.
  • Provide information about the requirements needed to complete transactions.
  • Learn to use Service NSW systems and customer service processes.
  • Work alongside experienced team members and learn from their knowledge and experience.
We're looking for students who are:
  • Keen to learn and try new things
  • Interested in helping people and providing great customer service
  • Reliable, respectful and positive
  • Comfortable using technology or willing to build their digital skills
  • Able to work well with others and contribute to a team
No previous work experience is required.
You'll be supported every step of the way through:

Positions are available in:

  • Tweed Heads Service Centre 
  • Toronto Service Centre

These traineeships are funded through the Elsa Dixon Aboriginal Employment Grant, which supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to access employment and career development opportunities within the NSW Public Sector.
