Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:

  • You’ll join an amazing team of experienced heritage professionals who’ll provide mentorship and interesting opportunities to help you grow your experience through working on a diverse range of projects
  • You’ll have the chance to grow your project management skills by leading or supporting a diverse range of cultural heritage projects, including large scale energy, renewables transmission projects spanning from pre-design concept inputs, to assessments, approvals, post-approval mitigations and remediation
  • You’ll have a great balance of field and desk-based work which will include, leading or participating in field work programs including survey, cultural values assessments, test excavation and salvages, as well as authoring or contributing to preliminary constraint analyses, due diligence assessments, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Assessments, Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management Plans and more
  • You’ll play a key role in providing leadership and mentorship to develop our bright and ambitious early career archaeologists
  • You will be surrounded by a supportive team and have the autonomy, flexibility and support you need to balance all aspects of your life
  • With offices across Australia; you will be able to enjoy flexible and hybrid working at its best

Here’s what you will bring to have impact:

  • A relevant tertiary degree in archaeology
  • A minimum of 4-8 years archaeological consulting experience in Aboriginal heritage management; striking a good balance for both field and reporting skills
  • A passion for mentoring and growing successful teams, and/or collaborating with early career archaeologists   
  • Exceptional reporting and quality assurance skills, underpinned by robust knowledge of NSW state legislation
  • A current valid unrestricted drivers’ license and Construction Industry Safety Induction (White Card)
