Nature of Work:
Embraces and Embodies the Identity Document’s Mission, Purpose and Vision Statements; Core Values, Guiding Principles and Strategic Goals. Responsible for recruiting interested individuals for the program and deliver the cancer screening education program, My Health My Choice, to women with IDD and their supporters. Provides health education programming and completing data collection for the project entitled “Improving Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening for Native American Women with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).” Coordinates closely with other community health and social service agencies for the Northern Arizona University grant through the American Cancer Society and the Center for Native American Cancer Health Equity.
