    Job Summary:  Working closely with school administration, staff, parents, and First Nations, M�tis & Inuit students, the Indigenous Student Achievement Coordinator (ISAC) will collaborate with students to develop success plans to improve achievement, school engagement and graduation. The primary duties of the ISAC position fall into the areas of Relationship-Building (advocate for FNMI students and parents/caregivers), Supporting Students (case management and success planning), and Data Collection and Monitoring (using data to monitor academic outcomes).

    Required Qualifications:

    • A post-secondary degree in a related human services or education discipline
    • A minimum five years working in the Human Services, Education or Social Work sectors
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong commitment and experience working with children and youth from strength based and appreciative philosophies, including engagement and improvement strategies
    • Ability to speak or understand a First Nations, M�tis, or Inuit language an asset
    • Knowledge of and ability to articulate First Nations and M�tis history, cultures, and family systems and their impact on Indigenous student experiences in school
    • Experience actualizing strong case management systems and an ability to leverage this for student success in school
    • Ability to make strong contributions to an integrated team of professionals as well as provide leadership in the areas of student engagement, anti-racist and culturally responsive school practices, data management, and record keeping
    • Commitment to ideals and principles of Catholic education
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and that driver should have a package policy or extended liability policy with liability coverage of no less than $1,000,000


    Terms of Employment:

    • As per Collective Agreement
    • 7.25 hours/day. Must be able to work a flexible schedule
    • To begin May 7, 2026 ( and continue to June 26, 2026 or until the return of the incumbent, if earlier)
    • Salary range $36.82 to $44.71 per hour
