The South West Aboriginal Medical Service Ltd (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, founded on the principles of self-determination, empowerment and freedom of choice. Our mission is to provide high-quality, culturally appropriate, and holistic healthcare that builds strong and healthy Aboriginal communities. We act with integrity and are dedicated to excellence. We have over 250 staff here at SWAMS and are continuing to grow. We are actively working to “Close the Gap”.
We operate out of the Greater Bunbury area, Mandurah, and have numerous clinics throughout the South West.
SWAMS is dedicated to enhancing employment opportunities and outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This position is designated under Section 50D of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA), and as such, only Aboriginal people are eligible to apply.
