Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role
We are seeking a Teaching Fellow – Māori Education to join Te Kura Toi Tangata School of Education. This is a teaching-focused role where you will contribute to preparing future educators with strong capabilities in te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and Mātauranga Māori.
You will deliver high-quality teaching across undergraduate programmes, particularly within initial teacher education, teaching in both te reo Māori immersion and bilingual and English medium contexts. The role includes lecturing, tutoring, assessment, and contributing to curriculum development. It may include evaluative visiting for students on professional experience.
This is a fixed-term, full-time role for three years, based at our Hamilton campus, with potential teaching across both Hamilton and Tauranga, including online teaching. Salary will be in the range of $81,389 to $114,226 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience.
