We are looking for a reliable, proactive and detail‑oriented Cleaning & Stocktaking Assistant to help keep our Darwin office and shared spaces clean, organised and well‑maintained.


About the Role

In this hands-on role, you will support our team by maintaining hygiene, organisation and cleanliness across office, kitchen and communal areas. You’ll manage stock levels, contribute to a safe workplace, and ensure our environment supports the wellbeing of staff, families and community members. Some work occurs outside standard office hours.

This role is Part Time – 12 hrs/week, across

  • 3 × 3‑hour shifts (not Mondays), and
  • 1 × 4‑hour shift on Friday evening or over the weekend.


Key Responsibilities

  • General office cleaning: floors, bathrooms, surfaces, workspaces and communal areas
  • Kitchen & food‑area deep cleaning, including fridges and benches
  • Waste management and putting out bins
  • Laundry tasks for cleaning items
  • Restocking essentials (paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc.)
  • Conducting regular stocktakes and reporting shortages
  • Supporting basic office upkeep
  • Reporting any Workplace Health & Safety concerns


Essential Key Selection Criteria

  • Well-organised with strong time management skills.
  • Good attention to detail and thorough in completing tasks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check and obtain an NT OCHRE Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Own transport to and from the office (must be capable of transporting necessary cleaning supplies if required).
