Senior First Peoples Consultant Full Time Ongoing position HS8: $136650.80 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging Location: Thomas Embling Hospital, Fairfield.   Please Note: Applications will be assessed as received and position may close earlier than indicated. Together, we can contribute to a more connected, compassionate mental health and criminal justice system.   Job Location Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city.  Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an Education, Innovation and Research team that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.  About the Role This is a unique and impactful opportunity for a Senior First Peoples Consultant to join our Strategy, Policy and Planning Unit within the First Peoples Advisory team. Working closely with the Manager, First Peoples Strategy and Advice, you will play a key role in driving systemic change and improving outcomes for First Peoples consumers, communities, and workforce. You will lead strategic initiatives, influence organisational direction, and support the delivery of culturally safe and responsive services across Forensicare. Key Responsibilities: Lead First Peoples strategy, policy, and cultural safety initiatives Deliver high-impact projects that drive system and service reform Build strong partnerships with First Peoples communities and organisations Provide expert advice and influence senior leaders and governance About You You are a respected and culturally informed professional with a passion for advancing outcomes for First Peoples.
