Why Your Role Matters:
The Project Manager will play a lead role in delivering national projects that improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, with a focus on expanding point-of-care testing for infectious diseases in rural and remote regions. Working within the Kirby Institute, and in partnership with the International Centre of Point-of-Care Testing at Flinders University, the role will oversee project planning, delivery, governance, and reporting to achieve strategic and operational goals.
Key aspects of the role include building strong relationships with government, health services, and other stakeholders; supporting project budgets and contracts; managing risks and reporting; and coordinating a large team across multiple initiatives. The position also involves regular travel to regional and remote health services across Australia.
The Project Manager will report to the Program Head, SERP, and manage three direct reports.
