Why Your Role Matters:
As the Indigenous Employment and Engagement Administrator, you play a vital role in supporting UNSW’s commitment to attracting, retaining, and developing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff. Reporting to the Indigenous Employment and Engagement Manager, you provide professional administrative and operational support to the team, ensuring the smooth delivery of Indigenous employment initiatives, workshops, and events across the University.
You act as the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries, maintain records and reporting systems, draft correspondence and promotional materials, and assist with financial and logistical processes. Your work supports clear communication and engagement with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander staff, community partners, and government agencies, helping to maintain culturally safe practices across all touchpoints. By coordinating initiatives, monitoring targets, and collaborating with other P&C teams and faculties, you directly contribute to creating an inclusive, supportive, and high-performing workplace for Indigenous staff at UNSW.
