INDIGENOUS MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTIONS WORKER (27-26)

Purpose of the Position: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled professional to provide culturally responsive mental health and addiction services for Indigenous individuals (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) within the Districts of Muskoka and Parry Sound. This role is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities including comprehensive mental health and addictions case management, psychological rehabilitation, crisis intervention, and treatment. The successful candidate will be placed as either a Case Manager or Therapist based on their qualifications, experience, and expertise.
This position will work collaboratively with community partners, Indigenous knowledge holders, and the broader B’saanibamaadsiwin team to deliver culturally safe care, empowering clients and their families toward healing, resilience, and overall wellness.

Major Responsibilities:
Salary scale: Comprehensive benefit plan and enrollment in a Registered Retirement plan with HOOPP where contributions start on date of hire.
Case Manager: $29.85 to $39.09 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Therapist: $36.62 to $45.15 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience.
