Why Your Role Matters:
The Division of Societal Impact, Equity & Engagement (SIEE) leads UNSW’s work to build a diverse, inclusive community and drive positive change with our partners across society.
We’re seeking an Indigenous Societal Impact Specialist to embed Indigenous knowledges into UNSW’s inaugural Societal Impact Framework (SIF) - a university-wide approach to understanding and demonstrating our impact across research, education, engagement and operations.
In this role, you’ll ensure Indigenous perspectives shape how impact is measured and communicated. You’ll collaborate across Faculties and Divisions, students and our extended Indigenous communities, designing culturally appropriate approaches to data collection, analysis, storytelling and evaluation. You’ll help showcase UNSW’s achievements with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and strengthen our collective contribution.
Key focus areas:
This role reports to the Director, Societal Impact & Evaluation and has no direct reports.
