The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in Bunbury which provides a variety of health services to Aboriginal people in the South West, Great South, Upper Wheatbelt and Peel Regions of Western Australia. SWAMS delivers a wide range of Services including: GP Clinics, Primary Health Care, Counselling, Aged Care and community host various programs. Lead the Future of Aboriginal Health
We have an exciting newly created opportunity at SWAMS for an exceptional Aboriginal leader to join our Leadership Team as Executive Manager of Aboriginal Health. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this influential executive role provides strategic and operational leadership across all Aboriginal health and clinical service delivery areas of the organisation. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of health outcomes for Aboriginal communities across the South West by ensuring services are delivered through a culturally safe, community-controlled and Aboriginal-led lens, consistent with the principles of the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO) sector. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will champion cultural integrity, strengthen community voice in decision-making and drive excellence across health, clinical and support services.
