Native American Education Support Assistant

Requirements:

• Must be available to travel to different schools to mentor Native American Students
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar)
• Be proficient in technology

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, social, and emotional support to Native American students
• Serve as a positive role model and advocate for student success
• Facilitate communication between students, families, and school staff
• Help students set and achieve academic and personal goals
• Organize and lead cultural activities and events
• Offer guidance on college/career planning and scholarship opportunities
• Support students navigating school resources and community services
• Maintain regular documentation of student progress and participation
• Foster a safe, inclusive environment that honors Native American heritage
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and community organizations to support students
