We’re hiring multiple Indigenous Customer Service Representatives to join IAG’s NRMA Insurance team in roles specifically designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
You’ll be supported through a 12-week, in-office training program, building connections as you learn before transitioning to hybrid working.
These are permanent, part-time roles based in Bidjigal country (Hurstville), commencing 9 October.
Work Availability
We have multiple part-time opportunities available and are seeking candidates who can commit to the following schedules:
33 Hours Per Week (5 Positions Available)
27.5 Hours Per Week (5 Positions Available)
What You'll Do
• Deliver positive, inclusive customer experiences in a structured inbound contact centre environment
• Understand each customer’s needs and recommend tailored insurance options that provide the right level of cover and protection
• Clearly explain policy options, benefits, and pricing to help customers feel confident in their decisions
• Accurately update customer information and policies while resolving enquiries and navigating conversations with care and professionalism
About You
• Previous customer-facing experience (e.g. sales, hospitality, retail, or contact centre) is highly valued
• A strong customer focus, with empathy and the ability to build rapport quickly
• Confidence using multiple systems, with solid digital skills and attention to detail
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with an openness to learning and feedback
• The ability to work towards KPIs while maintaining high-quality customer outcomes
• You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
This role is a designated role and only available to a person that identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
