Today, Orange Sky operates in 22 remote locations, using innovative, purpose-built vehicles designed for tough conditions, and we’re committed to expanding our reach and impact to support even more remote communities in the years ahead.
The Role
We’re always looking to increase our impact and help more people - striving to continually improve is in our DNA at Orange Sky. This role is a key member of our dynamic Operations Team, vital to the growth of the team within Orange Sky as well as the smooth operation and improvement of remote and indigenous services across Australia.
Orange Sky is growing its impact in remote and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and is looking for an additional Remote Service Coordinator to help establish and manage its services and related service delivery partnerships.
We are looking for a person who is connected to or has strong experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait communities and has a strong understanding of the historical, geographic, health, social and emotional wellbeing needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Strong communication skills is a core attribute of the person we are looking for. The role will include administrative tasks, partnership management, application of a number of project management tools and processes, logistics and asset maintenance. This role will provide a unique opportunity for travel to some remote communities; therefore, you will need to be aware and respectful of cultural protocols and be willing and adaptable to travelling, living and working closely in a small team.

The applicant ideally has experience in a similar role within a fast-paced organisation, ideally within the not-for-profit sector and working with diverse stakeholders.
