The Administration and Activities Coordinator supports the effective operation of the Thamarrurr Aboriginal Women’s Council. This role helps with administration, meeting coordination, grant support, and the planning of council activities. A key part of this position is mentoring and supporting a local Aboriginal woman to build skills and confidence so the role can be transferred locally over time.

We are a Not-for-Profit, registered charitable organisation, owned by members of the Wangka, Tjanpa and Lirga peoples. The Wadeye Community, (formerly Pt Keats) NT, is located in the Western Daly River region – an area rich in cultures, wildlife and ecosystems. Wadeye is the Territory’s 6th most populous town and one of Australia’s largest remote indigenous communities. We support the Wadeye community through a range of areas including Housing & Construction, NDIS, Aged Care, Employment & Training, Enterprise Development and more.
