Your Role
An opportunity is available in our Swan Hill office for a committed and dedicated The Orange Door (TOD) Aboriginal Hub Practitioner.
In this role as Aboriginal Hub Practitioner, you will provide culturally safe and effective responses to Aboriginal families and children seeking support and safety through the TOD. This position will work in conjunction with the Orange Door staff and the Orange Door leadership in delivering the services to the Aboriginal women, men and children who enter the hub intake system to receive support and access the wider service system.
This is a permanent, position working 38 hours per week and is based at our Swan Hill office location.

Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate, consult, liaise, and negotiate with a broad range of people both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal, at all levels to achieve program objectives and goals, policies, legislation, program and practices in relation to the program.
Proven ability to work and engage with Aboriginal families and children
Handle client information in accordance with the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS), information security and privacy policies and requirements
