Yadu Health Aboriginal Corporation is a not-for-profit, community-controlled health service providing primary health care to Aboriginal communities in Ceduna, Koonibba and surrounding areas.
For more than 30 years, Yadu Health has delivered affordable, accessible and culturally safe health care, with a strong focus on improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Our services are delivered through a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including Aboriginal Health Workers and Practitioners, nurses, GPs, visiting specialists and allied health professionals. Yadu Health also operates a fully accredited 24-hour residential aged care facility.
Yadu Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Aboriginal Health Workers / Practitioners to join our Primary Health Care team.
We have multiple permanent full-time positions available for people passionate about improving Aboriginal health outcomes and providing timely, culturally appropriate and holistic care within both community and clinical environments.
Aboriginal Health Workers and Practitioners play a vital role in connecting clients, families, communities and health services. You will work closely with Yadu’s multidisciplinary team to provide culturally safe health care, education, support and advocacy while helping clients navigate and access the services they need.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to Aboriginal health while developing your skills and career within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation.
Key responsibilities include:
Previous experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, Aboriginal health service, health care or community services environment will be highly regarded.
