The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in Bunbury which provides a variety of health services to Aboriginal people in the South West, Great South, Upper wheatbelt and Peel Regions of Western Australia. SWAMS delivers a wide range of Services including: GP Clinics, Primary Health Care, Counselling, NDIS and community host various programs. SWAMS has a strong growth strategy through partnership opportunities and future community development.
About the role
This part time role (38 hours per fortnight – 2 days one week and 3 days the following week) is working within the Maternal Child Health team to support women and their families. This is a fixed term contract until June 2028. This role will support them during antenatal, birthing and postpartum care. The ORCHID program is a family centered program for diabetes in pregnancy.

This role will suit someone who has great people skills and who can show empathy and care for our clients. You will be supported by others in the team but also must be able to work independently.
