About the Role:
The Madden House Cultural Case Manager role is based at a St Kilda Community Housing (SKCH) managed property on Wellington Street, St Kilda. This is a collaborative position between St Kilda Community Housing, Ngwala, and VincentCare, designed to provide culturally specific and holistic support to tenants at Madden House, with the goal of helping them maintain long-term, stable housing.
Madden House is a long-term supportive housing program made up of 26 self-contained one-bedroom units, dedicated to people who have experienced homelessness. All tenancy applications are referred through the City of Port Phillip’s By-Name List (BNL), with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people prioritised for housing placements.
The Aboriginal Case Manger plays a key role in ensuring Aboriginal tenants receive wraparound, culturally safe support that promotes not just housing stability, but also connection to culture, community, and improved overall wellbeing.
This on-site role delivers consistent, strengths-based case management, tailored to the unique goals, needs, and circumstances of each tenant ensuring a respectful and empowering approach to long-term support.
