Celebrating Excellence and Empowering Change. That’s our mission at MAX, where we recognize and celebrate the professional, educational, and charitable contributions of Muslims in North America. Through events like the MAX Gala, we aim to inspire leadership and foster a dynamic community that energizes the economy and expands our cultural horizons.
In September 2015, a group of professionals came together with a vision ‘to elevate the brand of Muslims in Canada by recognizing & motivating high achievement.’ In an effort to recognize, celebrate, encourage and motivate such achievements, commitment to excellence and service- the concept of MAX was born. If you are passionate about your career, motivated to improve the lives of our community, committed to excellence, and helping others, consider joining MAX.
Role Overview
As a Mentorship Manager, you will play a critical role in leading and supporting a mentorship pod of mentors and mentees within a specific industry or professional area. You will oversee the onboarding process, provide ongoing guidance, facilitate communication, and ensure the smooth operation of all mentorship activities. While you may not always require deep technical expertise in the industry, your leadership, organizational skills, and dedication to mentorship best practices will be essential in creating a high-quality and engaging experience for all participants.
Mentorship Managers act as the primary point of contact for their pod, coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and helping mentors and mentees achieve their professional development goals. You will collaborate closely with City Leads, Industry Managers, and program stakeholders to continuously improve program delivery, foster meaningful connections, and contribute to the success of the MAX Mentorship Program.
