About the role:
Reporting to the Executive Director Aboriginal Health, some of your duties for the role will include:
- Collaborating with key stakeholders as required to progress agreed strategic Aboriginal Health Initiatives, this may include Aboriginal Community Controlled organisations (ACCHO’s), Non-government service providers, other SA Health and private health service entities
- Budget preparation, monitoring and reporting and adherence to resource allocations
- Working collaboratively with Traditional Owners (and their communities where relevant) whose catchment area is within the LHN’s footprint
- Assisting to develop local processes to identify, promote, implement and support best practice for Aboriginal Health improvement and local community engagement and participation
About you:
- Tertiary Qualification (this could include Certificate IV Aboriginal Primary Health Care)
- Proven ability to work with a range of internal and external stakeholders to create improved and successful data collection, management, and reporting practices
- Experience in working with Aboriginal people and Aboriginal communities
- Proven experience with written communications/ reports
- Proven experience in participating in research activities, including collecting, analysing, consolidating and reporting on data/information from a variety of sources
