The Town of Stony Plain is the local government authority responsible for planning and delivering municipal services in Stony Plain, a Canadian urban community of approximately 18,000 people on the traditional Indigenous lands of Treaty 6 peoples.

In accordance with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955, current Collective Agreement, the starting wage is $21.97 per hour. Normal hours of work are 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Work requirements may dictate a rotational work schedule to include some weekends. The successful candidate must be willing to work overtime as required. The approximate term of the seasonal employment will be from May 4, 2026, – August 28, 2026.
