Job Description

The Town is currently accepting applications for seasonal summer employment for Arena Attendant Lacrosse positions within the Parks and Leisure Services Team. As a member of this team, you will be dedicated to serving the residents of Stony Plain, as well as various local user groups utilizing the Arena.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Can perform janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness in facilities
  • Is capable of assisting with general building maintenance
  • Can help maintain indoor dry pad surfaces

Qualifications

Conditions of Employment:

  • C.S.A. steel-toed boots
  • A clean Criminal Records check
  • A Valid Alberta class 5 driver’s license, and a satisfactory driver’s Abstract.
  • Current First Aid certification would be considered a definite asset.

In accordance with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955, current Collective Agreement, the wage for these positions will be $21.91 per hour.  Regular hours of work are 20-30 hours per week.  Successful applicants must be willing to work scheduled hours of evening and weekends. The term of seasonal employment will be from approximately April 7, 2026, - June 30th, 2026.
