In the appointment of Research Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be: Post First Nation band membership codes to an online repository (website); Collect and collate First Nation community geolocation data; Conduct research relating to First Nation band membership in Canada; complete administrative tasks; work with an international team of researchers.

Your general location of work will be remote and you will report to Dr. Damien Lee.

Required Number of Hours: 40 hours during the employment term

Duration of Employment: October 13, 2025 to November 14, 2025

Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)

Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Studies or related discipline (e.g. Political Studies). Ability to conduct online research, handle large amounts of documents, navigating website administrative pages.

You must be registered in a graduate program.
