Personal Care Worker

We are looking for Personal Care Workers to work at our facilities based in Townsville.

This role is permanent full-time position (38 hours per week)

About the Role:

As a Personal Care Worker you’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.

• To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
• Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
• Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

• Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents

To be successful, you will have:

• At least 12 months' prior work experience
• Strong and clear verbal communication skills
• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
• Experience in care role highly regarded
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Valid National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

The guaranteed minimum earnings (inclusive of allowances and penalties) will be no less than $68,864 per annum plus superannuation. This could include a combination of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekends.
