Summary: IRC will be responsible for the overall coordination of research program, including planning, finance and administration, basic communications support, and organizing reports for funders and community partners. They will also be responsible for events planning and coordination of all community events. The Indigenous Research Coordinator collaborates closely with community partners to develop and implement research projects, build relationships, and enhance Indigenous engagement within the Department. This position is crucial in fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment that promotes the personal, social, cultural, and academic success of learners. Some travel within the province may be required. Duties and Responsibilities: Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree or certificate related to administration or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience: At least 3-5 years of related experience. Experience working in an research environment would be considered an asset. Experience working and collaborating in diverse and inclusive settings is required.
