Front Desk Volunteers

If you love people, love being at a retreat center surrounded by nature, and you’re looking for a meaningful place to volunteer your time, this is the role for you. We are seeking friendly volunteers to staff our beautiful new front desk! Duties include: Welcoming guests upon arrival and entry to building Pointing guests in the right direction for meeting spaces, restrooms, lodging, dining Answering basic questions about the grounds and facilities Taking comments and concerns, and forwarding them to appropriate staff Taking gift shop orders Encouraging guests to take our guest survey Thanking guests upon check-out  This role is perfect for: Students earning volunteer hours or interested in the hospitality field, remote workers and self-employed folks who want a fun workplace away from home, retirees looking for meaningful social interaction. There will be downtime to study, work on other jobs/projects, read, etc. Note, this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.
