A dynamic opportunity awaits within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network for a passionate Diabetes Nurse Educator to join the Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Service.
In this influential role, you’ll help shape the future of diabetes care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities by delivering innovative, culturally responsive education and support. You’ll work closely with clients managing complex health needs, ensuring care is grounded in respect, understanding and strong community connection.
As a Clinical Nurse Diabetes Nurse Educator, you will design, deliver and evaluate high‑impact education programs that empower nursing staff to stay aligned with the latest evidence, clinical standards and best‑practice diabetes management. Collaboration is central to this role, and you’ll partner with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen clinical capability, enhance patient outcomes and foster professional growth across the service.
You’ll be supported by a team of skilled and dedicated professionals who value your clinical expertise, critical thinking and compassionate approach to care.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
