  • Permanent, full-time role
  • Role based in Parramatta Square
  • You will attend full time training in the office (Monday to Friday) for approximately 6 months and then transition to hybrid working where you will work 3 days in the office and can work the remaining days from home
  • This role will commence on approx. the 2nd February 2026 

What’s the role?

As a Credit Assessor, you will support the mortgage application process for applications received from our Third-Party Broker Network, handling both simple and complex cases, such as PAYG, LMI, Construction, Guarantor, Home Guarantee Scheme and more. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing applications for accuracy and compliance with quality standards
  • Assessing creditworthiness and serviceability while adhering to lending regulations
  • Referring applications beyond credit guidelines to managers
  • Building strong relationships with brokers by providing guidance and maintaining trust
  • Ensuring audit, compliance, and quality standards are met to minimize risk
  • Offering advice on application structuring, credit policy, and documentation.

What do I need?

  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise, consult and advise internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills 
  • Finance/banking background desirable
