Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This position is a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track position, with a 3/3 teaching load and expectation of student advising. Faculty are expected to produce at least 2 peer-reviewed publications (or equivalent) every 3 years. Service expectations include committee work and related department activities. Faculty member’s must be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching with the ability to teach introductory as well as major-specific and graduate courses. Pedagogies that support all students are highly encouraged.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications for an Assistant Professor in English with expertise in North American Indigenous Literatures: Doctorate in English or closely related field, including Indigenous Studies (PhD in hand) A minimum of three years of teaching experience at the University level, which can include online instruction
