Our Technology & Operations Graduate Program is open to candidates based in Meanjin (Brisbane), Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Sydney), commencing on 8 February 2027. This is an 18-month full-time program that offers multiple rotations and exposure within your chosen field. What You’ll Do  

 

  • Drive innovation, resilience and sustainable technology that enables IAG’s customer focused strategy, while championing GenAI by testing, building and adopting tools that improve how we work and our customer experiences 

  • Work across multiple areas, including technical and non-technical functions, with opportunities to collaborate across risk, strategy and planning, property, capability, operations, IT helpdesk, data and technology, plus software engineering and architecture 

  • Be involved in thought leadership decisions to drive and deliver the IAG Technology strategy 

  • Support our people to evolve resilient, scalable technology that can meet changing customer and business needs 

  • Build reusable integration and automation assets to improve efficiency and enable better ways of working 

  • Deliver leading edge tooling and organisational optimisation, and help deliver outcomes by designing how our customers, our brokers, our partners and our people interact digitally every day 

 

What You’ll Bring 

 

  • A university degree or higher (graduated in 2024-2025) or be in your penultimate year of university with graduation expected by the end of 2026 - ideally with career aspirations in the areas of Technology, Computer Science, Analysis, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Ecosystems, Mathematics, Data, Business, Commerce, Humanities, Strategy or Cyber 

  • A credit average achievement (65%+) 

  • You bring a growth mindset, are driven, enthusiastic and a strong team player 

  • Hybrid working with a minimum expectation of 10 days in the Meanjin (Brisbane), Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney) office  

  • You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 

 

This role is a designated role and only available to a person that identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. This role has been created as a special measure to promote equal opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in accordance with relevant equal opportunity legislation.
