ATCO is proud to announce our 2026 Indigenous Summer Student Program. Across Canada, ATCO is committed to building and maintaining positive and sustainable relationships with all the communities we serve. Our Indigenous Summer Student Program is one of the many ways we do that.

The Indigenous Summer Student Program provides Indigenous students with invaluable work experience in a welcoming, culturally safe, and inclusive environment. There are many benefits to working at ATCO and here are just a few of the benefits you can expect.

Depending on available vacancies, examples of employment opportunities within ATCO are:

  • Accounting/Finance

  • Administration

  • Engineering

  • Human Resources

  • Laborer

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Utility Field Operations

  • Warehouse/Inventory Management

This posting is for positions in various locations throughout Alberta, Yukon, and the Northwest Territories.

You are eligible to apply for the program if you are:  

  • An Indigenous student (First Nations, Inuit, or Métis)
  • Starting or returning to a full-time post-secondary and/or trades program in September 2026
  • Committed to working for 4 months from May to August on a full-time basis
  • Able to provide a resume, proof of post-secondary enrollment, and Proof of Indigenous Identity (i.e. Status Card, Metis Citizenship card or Inuit Beneficiary Card)

 

Deadline to apply is February 6, 2026.
